Contradance in Miami is changing. Lou Dow, who has been the organizer of the Barnacle dance for the last many years is now working in Europe setting up a fine art printmaking studio for a museum in Fundao, Portugal and training artists to run the facility. The Barnacle dances will be handled by Anita and Pat Mason, the same folks who currently run the Davie Contradance. They’ve made some changes in the schedule, you’ll find the details and information about future Barnacle dances here. Dow expects to return in early 2016 and expects to be organizing dances again in Miami-Dade. If you’re interested in getting up-to-date information about developments as they occur, send us an e-mail, here, and we’ll send you information as it becomes available.
